Apparently Mr. Rogers wasn’t the saint we all thought he was. Now that the movie is out, there are some rumors about Mr. Rogers that will have you gasping and it came straight from his wife.
When the writers of “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.” Approached Mr. Roger’s wife Joanne, to get her blessings to do the movie, she had only one request: to not make him out to be the saint that we knew him to be.
Joanne was the one person who knew Fred Rogers best and told the writers one of the, what some might say, most disgusting and foul things about her late husband.
He would just raise one cheek and he would look at me and smile,

Apparently things were not always rainbow and sunshine at home and when things were bad, she said the Mr. Rogers would fart, saying that is was his go to way to make her laugh! and it worked!
Ok….so it wasn’t nearly as bad as I made it out to be but……still fun!
