Quibi is a new streaming platform set to launch next year. It already has plenty of shows lined up including a courtroom series starring Chrissy Teigen.
Now, they’ve announced a new reality series. You may be sighing in exasperation at the thought of ANOTHER reality series (I know I did), but the premise behind this one is paying it forward. Literally.
It’s called Thanks a Million and will feature celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Kristen Bell, Tracy Morgan and more all gifting $100,000 to someone that has had a positive impact on their life. That person will be asked to gift half of that sum to someone in THEIR life that did the same and so on down the chain. Now, does that mean that the last guy is getting $1? I’m not sure. But, I will praise the concept of celebrating positive impacts instead of the usual drama.
Quibi is set to release in April of next year.
